Everything seems very simple to do and make money. I was impressed when I was searching a plugin for travel services. As I was sitting in my part time at travel agency so I was looking to have some sort of travel website.

I found a good affiliate sunshine.co.uk from their article, it seem it is actually an affiliate group website. I have information that travel industry is most easy for people to make their own new companies. But it does require some skill. This affiliate was offering affiliate a plugin  to transform your website in a travel website.

I have already plan to put a travel website on my sub domain travel.amazinglink.com so I have started by doing installation of wordpress. I have downloaded wordpress, and than made a travel database on my mysql server. Copied all files from computer to ftp server and changed configuration.php and I am on my way with wordpress.

Wait I have also need to signup to affiliatefuture.co.uk so I can join this affiliate. As they will send me money by using this thirdparty affiliate. Well procedure was simple I did it in  a minute.

I have to put plugin in my wordpress plugin directory, and I did it, but I still need some XML services. I filled form and asked them to give me all xml services. But they were taking some time, it mean it was not automated. Now I try to do more configuration. When I activate sunshine plugin. Another menu of sunshine setting came up.

Wow it has some options like putting my affiliatefuture.co.uk’s ids and other details. But when I tried to setup, I have seen something content import options. But to have this following were lines in help file, which really ruined me few hours. Because I was surprise what are these options

•    Please ensure before enabling the content tools, you have activated your sunPress [agent|guide|basic] theme (if applicable). This will ensure the main ‘pages’ such as ‘All Inclusive Holidays’, ‘Bargain Holidays’ e.t.c. are assigned the correct template.

I was searching where is option of [agent|guide|basic] but find nowhere I have also searched google to found out exactly what it mean. But I was clueless. Than I have read and I understood that it want me to setup pages as a template. But problem was on my theme there was no option of specifiying templates separately.

I am in problem, now I have restored to default theme of wordpress and than try to setup, yes template page is present, but in default template there is nothing mention about pages, they have two template default. Than I have realized that sunshine.co.uk must have template.

So I searched again and on affiliatefuture.co.uk pages I found wordpress themes for this plugin. And now I am on my way to this lovely page. It all come up, now I have to add each country and resorts to my site. And they started to appear in my pages.

That was very cool, almost a huge site is ready to be delivered on wordpress. Ofcourse as I wanted to have each hotel one, but I don’t think this one is like that, but still it is very nice feature.

I will check it again when I will get xml userid and passwords. Well ofcourse this affiliate has been added in my website and its sub website is ready, I wanted this site to do goo business. Todays is 9 June 2009, and it is 1700 hour time. And as I just joined so let us see what earning come out from this affiliate.

Well my this article is growing, I have still much more to talk with you, as this is my first affiliate beginning. Let me get you more information about how I improve my site earnings and make this small site worthy for visitors.

I have seen another nice plugin of Sunshine exchange which query rss and bring latest deals on the site. Yes this is nice idea.

As I am still waiting for my xml access, which may take 1-2 working days, so when I will get this access I will discuss about site and its content.

How to increase my site

I hate this copy culture, ofcourse through plugin I get data, and my site seem travel site and it is nice sorted, But I have to compare prices, see discounts and deals. I have seen that this site is quite good and low price. They try to save by not using commercial advertisement, and they force on my web based and search engine optimization technique to grow their company. Very nice idea.

But this mean more competition for publisher affiliate. I have decided to add daily one country and at least three pages of content, pure my own content about country, maps, tours any topic related to country. If I have more time I will see in future to discuss about hotels.

I also link outbound links for my site. Current site has zero links and nothing on search engine. Everything is very fresh, and as my opinion, this require at least three months to have mature figure of site, and its search engine ranking. I am interested to have at least rank 3-6 somewhere, but to have good rank I need a lot of content. Ofcourse it has been just 4 hours that I have made this site, and now it is time for me sleep. So I will do further work tomorrow. Hopefully I will update your guys about my work.

I like to use ms word to write articles but I hate its setup to add links and pictures, so I am thinking to change something else to write article. You will be surprise that I don’t use wordpress directly to input my article. Well do use wordpress built in but I feel more comfortable with MS word to write articles. My office 2003 include MS word and it is much more easier to write on it.

Softwares are going now beyond imagination of human being. We have now full of open source software which revoulationize technology and make many things more easy and simple.

Like simple word processor, now some content management system become so simple to use that any new comer can begin his work. But as my first primary formula be punctual and constant in timings.

So if you have promise that you will add one page to site daily, than following is nice solution for you.

Wordpress is very easy to install content management system. If you are looking for your own solution that this is best choice. Just register one domain name and hosting package, and install wordpress. It is only download and install like setup.

You have million of free themese for wordpress, and if you made handsome money you can get professionally designed themes.

This sound great and fun, as usually many website say make easy money by sitting in home and just doing very small work. But be aware i am not here saying any golden dreams. But I believe that for affiliate there is much more work, and even soemtime it is a combination of hard learning and tough work in infancy period of Affiliate publisher.

We all love a life where we don’t want to put more stress and going and giving full time to other office, who give us fixed wages for our work. You can be like me who have few hours to spend at his home near family and work how much I like. So I choose to start affiliate work. But I don’t ask to give attention to people slogans that earn 500 $ spend few hours. but I think we can earn much more, but first few months we have to give time and only. Earning by affiliate take time and patience. All our hard work may give us some return or may die.

So it is totaly risky business. Either you lose or you earn, but believe me at leas whatever you have done efforts in this work, You will earn and at least your sweat which you through in work, you will earn.

Well for me following is really key principles, which if you follow will sucess.

1. Just be punctual on formula of 1 page per day and 1 site with in 3 months, take your own niche, don’t think you can sell everything, but you can sell things for which you know at least 50 pages matter, or you can draft such matter.

2. Be attractive by giving nice content, don’t think everybody is going to click your links.

3. I like commission comming from selling products, don’t like click earning, so you can be like me.
